Faculty

 

Molly Magee, Assistant Professor of Dance began the IRSC Dance Program in August of 2002. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 1978. Molly was a founding member of the Susan Warden Dancers, a touring modern dance company, based in Manhattan, KS. She taught at KSU and was a Guest Master Teacher at the University of Kansas. In 1989, she received her Master of Science in Education from Wheelock College in Boston, MA.

Molly studied extensively in New York City including comprehensive programs at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and the Luigi Jazz Centre.

Molly and her family moved to Stuart, FL in 1989 where she began teaching for the Martin County School District. She was named District Teacher of the Year in 1996. She has served on the Florida Education Standards Commission for 5 years and was on the Board of Directors for the Florida Dance Education Organization.
